We are planning great coverage of Chesapeake boating for 2014, and we are looking for your input.
What you like. What you don't like. What you'd like to see in future issues.
To gather this input, we have asked a local boater and marketer to conduct
a series of Focus Groups at
our offices in Eastport in the next two weeks. These groups are gatherings of like-minded people for a structured discussion.
The sessions will last about 45 minutes. We know there is no way for us to compensate you for your time, but if you could attend one of the groups, we will make a donation of $10 in your name to
Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating. And, we'll buy you a cup of coffee or a soda and give you a cookie! What a deal.
Our first session will be held at 5:30 on Thursday, November 14, and it will be
for sailors.
The second session will be held at 7:00 on Thursday, November 14, and it will be
for powerboaters.
The third session will be held 9:00 on Saturday, November 16, and it will be
a mix of sailors and powerboaters.
We know this is a busy time of year. We really need your input, and we appreciate your time.
If you can attend a session, just
e-mail Allison Nataro with your full name, phone number, and which session you can attend. Spouses and/or significant others are welcome to attend as well as long as we know ahead of time.
Can't make these groups? Let us know when you might be available. We will do a drawing at each session, and one lucky attendee will take home a gift certificate to the Boatyard Bar and Grill or Davis Pub, an easy walk from our offices.
