Photo by Gary Reich Our Facebook feed was chock-full of complaints about the slathering of snow many areas of Bay Country received last night and into today. While the slushy wet stuff certainly hasn't proven much in the way of inconvenience as far as driving goes, many were left scratching their heads when they awoke to snow that wasn't predicted at bedtime last night. Even though the snow is still falling throughout much of the Bay region, there are some dates to look forward to: If crabs are your thing, you need only wait six days until the crab season opens in Maryland. There are only 24 days until Maryland's opening day of trophy rockfish season. You'll only wait 66 days until Memorial Day weekend. And there are only 88 days until the summer solstice. Winter? No worries, that's 271 days away. Happy spring.
