In deference to the season’s first tropical storm, Andrea, making its way up the east coast, South Jersey has made the prudent decision and postponed the 33rd Annual Shark Tournament by one week. The “footprint” for the tournament will remain the same commencing with the Captain’s Meeting on Thursday, June 13th beginning at 6:00. The location will still South Jersey Marina and the format, prize categories and calcutta’s are also unchanged. Although not a factor in the postponement, it is believed that the week long delay will result in warmer water with a subsequent increase in the bite. So make plans to join us on the 13th for the oldest and richest shark tournament in New Jersey.
