The PropTalk “See the Bay Challenge” (“Challenge”) is sponsored by SpinSheet Publishing Company/PropTalk Magazine (“Sponsor”). Participation in the Challenge constitutes full and unconditional agreement by Participants to these Terms & Conditions and all decisions made by Sponsor, which are final and binding.

1. Eligibility

The Challenge is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of participation. Employees of Sponsor, participating locations, promotional partners, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win grand prizes.

Void where prohibited by law.

2. Challenge Period

The Challenge begins May 15, 2026, and ends September 15, 2026 and is promoted through official PropTalk channels, including the Challenge website, print publications, email newsletters, and social media.

Sponsor reserves the right to extend, shorten, modify, or cancel the Challenge at any time without prior notice.

3. How to Participate

Participants may earn points by visiting participating locations and completing eligible Challenge activities as described within the official See the Bay Challenge map, app, website, or promotional materials.

Participation methods may include, but are not limited to:

  • Checking in at participating locations
  • Scanning QR codes
  • Completing bonus activities
  • Attending featured events

Points awarded per location or activity may vary.

Sponsor reserves the right to verify all participation activity and disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent activity, tampering, abuse, duplicate accounts, automated participation, or behavior inconsistent with the spirit of the Challenge.

4. Prize Eligibility

Prize eligibility, including grand prizes, secondary prizes, raffles, giveaways, or participation rewards, will be determined based on the rules and point thresholds announced by Sponsor.

Examples may include:

  • Random drawings among eligible participants
  • Rewards for reaching specific point totals
  • Leaderboard-based recognition
  • Bonus prizes from participating sponsors

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible participants and qualifying entries.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated by Sponsor.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted using the email address, phone number, or account information associated with their participation.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the designated timeframe, or is determined to be ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Participants may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release where permitted by law.

6. Publicity Release

By participating, Participants grant Sponsor and its affiliates the right to use their name, likeness, hometown, submitted photos, social media content, and participation details for promotional, editorial, marketing, and advertising purposes related to the Challenge without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Participants understand that content posted to social media in connection with the Event may be publicly visible and shared by participants, sponsors, or the Sponsor, and they release Sponsor from liability related to user-generated social media content, tagging, reposting, comments, or online interactions connected to the Challenge.

7. Participating Locations

Participating businesses, marinas, restaurants, dock bars, and attractions are independent entities and are not responsible for the administration of the Challenge.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Business closures
  • Changes in hours
  • Availability of specials or promotions
  • Service interruptions
  • Event cancellations
  • Inaccurate map information

Participation at any location is at the participant’s own risk.

8. Conduct & Safety

Participants are expected to behave responsibly and lawfully at all times.

Sponsor strongly encourages:

  • Safe boating practices
  • Responsible alcohol consumption
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
  • Respectful conduct toward participating businesses, staff, and fellow participants

Sponsor reserves the right to remove or disqualify participants for any reason including unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.

9. Limitation of Liability

Participation is at the participant’s own risk. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, participating businesses, promotional partners, and their respective employees, officers, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, injuries, or liabilities arising from participation in the Challenge or acceptance/use of any prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Technical malfunctions
  • Lost or delayed submissions
  • Internet or mobile connectivity issues
  • App or platform failures
  • Unauthorized intervention
  • Human error
  • Incomplete or inaccurate participation data

By participating in the Challenge, participant acknowledges that they are physically able to participate safely and agree to comply with all Challenge rules, applicable laws, and safety instructions. Participant understands that reckless behavior, unsafe conduct, harassment, trespassing, or illegal activity may result in immediate disqualification.

Participants are strictly prohibited from participating while under the influence of illegal drugs or excessive alcohol. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant suspected of impairment, unsafe behavior, or rule violations.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, personal property, and conduct during the Event.

10. Privacy

Information collected from participants may be used by Sponsor for Challenge administration, prize fulfillment, marketing communications, and future promotional purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policies.

Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

11. Modification or Termination

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge at any time for any reason including the occurrence of fraud, technical failures, weather events, public safety concerns, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge.

12. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the See the Bay Challenge constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and all decisions made by Sponsor.
