The second annual
Sgt. Marvin T. Haw IV Boating Safety Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wilson Point Park (950 Beech Drive) in Middle River, MD, on June 3. Kick off the boating season with food vendors, safety demonstrations, and fun for the whole family. Meet members and volunteers from the Baltimore County Police Marine Unit, along with the Essex precinct, Natural Resources Police, United States Coast Guard, Marine Emergency Team 21, and many other agencies.
There will also be a silent auction with some great items to bid on, including:
- Two tickets (with parking pass) to the Hot August Music Festival at Oregon Ridge
- One hour paddleboard or kayak rental for four people
- Kids fun basket
- Hair Cuttery basket
- NRS Zephyr Inflatable PFD
- Crab-themed baskets (with gift cards)
- Sunset cruise for six
