Photo by Gary Reich If you've been a regular PropTalk reader over the last year, then you're likely aware that our team built and raced one of Chesapeake Light Craft's nifty little Cocktail Class Racers last year. We finished the boat about two days before the National Championships, which were held in Rock Hall in August, and also participated in a demo race at the Small Craft Festival at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in October. While we still have some finish work to do as far as paint schemes and graphics go, we spent the early spring adjusting, tweaking, and testing Molotov, as we've named her, with various trim, engine, and racer combinations. We're excited about our progress and intend to compete in the Kent Island Yacht Club Regatta on July 20. Stay tuned here and in PropTalk for updates as we prep our sweet racing machine for battle. Check out the short video below to see our early spring testing session.
