You can help the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary have a clean spot for New Year’s fishing by joining the New Year’s River Cleanup on Dec. 30, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Patuxent River Park, 1426 Mt. Zion/Marlboro Road in Lothian.
The Patuxent River Park is a popular fishing spot in the community, and cleanup participants will receive a voucher for half-off entry into the spring fishing tournament to be held March 22-26. For more information, contact Melinda Fegler at [email protected] or call (410) 741-9330 to register.
