Nearly 200 boats were on the water for the 23rd Annual MSSA Fall Classic on November 21 and 22, the Bay's largest striped bass tournament. The preliminary results are now online, though all standings are unofficial until after polygraph tests have been given.
In the Main Tournament category, first place goes to Captain Greg Buckner with a 47-inch rockfish, weighing 42.7 lbs. The fish was checked in at Calvert Marina in Solomons, MD, and earned Buckner a payout of $32,300.

Second place goes to Captain James Romero with a 47-inch rockfish, weighing 42 lbs and also checked in at Calvert Marina, with a payout of $16,800.

Dave Bailey took third place with a 35.5 inch fish, weighing 18.65 lbs and weighed in at Rod-n-Reel in Chesapeake Beach. The payout was $10,200.
