INDIAN SUMMER Is For Sale - $148,500

IMG_2593Beginning when we got her in 2010, Indian Summer's adventures and misadventures have been chronicled in PropTalk. Some of her alterations and upgrades have been described, particularly as they have posed unexpected challenges. In the six years, Indian Summer has carried us around the Chesapeake as well as some memorable longer jaunts. One was up the Atlantic Coast to New York, then up the Hudson, through the Erie and Oswego Canals, across the bottom of Lake Ontario to Cape Vincent on the St. Lawrence. We leisurely toured the Thousand Islands, the Rideau Canal, Ottawa, Montreal, down the river back to the St. Lawrence and then down Lake Champlain, and the Champlain Canal back to the Hudson at Troy NY. On another trip Indian Summer again took us to New York, but this time through the East River, up Long Island Sound to Newport, then to Nantucket with leisurely stops in between. Most recently, she carried us down the Bay, through the Dismal Swamp Canal and down the ICW to Amelia Island FL, again with leisurely stops along the way. (If you have never eaten in Aunny’s Restaurant in Georgetown, SC, put that on your bucket list.) She’s a great cruising boat and would be a comfortable liveaboard. She has a big comfortable salon, queen-sized bed in the master cabin which has head and shower, and V-berths forward with head. Her engine room is spacious, with room to work. Helm stations are in the salon and on the spacious fly bridge, with electronics at both stations. Indian Summer is currently wintering at Amelia Island, FL and can be seen there by appointment.
