Along the Annapolis Waterfront

The Harbor Queen is finishing the year-long celebration of her 40th birthday year by hosting “The Queen of All Food Drives,” a holiday food drive for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank during the Eastport YC Lights Parade on Saturday, December 8. The public is invited to drop off donations of non-perishable food items, pet food, or monetary donations throughout the evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and step aboard the Harbor Queen to watch the parade. Watermark will sell beverages, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Pets are welcome onboard. The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitor’s Bureau will sponsor the event. The public is encouraged to dress warmly and bring their holiday spirit to Annapolis City Dock to help those in need and enjoy a festive Annapolis tradition. Anyone who wants to take a 45-minute Spa Creek Cruise aboard Miss Anne adorned with reindeer spirit including Hot Cocoa and Holiday Music may also help the community, as 10% of the proceeds for such cruises benefit Historic Annapolis. Cruises are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, (at 6, 7, or 8 p.m.) from now through December 30 (excluding December 8). Book here. If you know of more ways to give along the waterfront on the Chesapeake this season, please share them with us.
