Rumor has it that this weekend is actually going to look like March, instead of this terrible January-like weather that we have been having. Lots of indoor events going on, and one "in-water" one!
Boat Shows: No matter where you are in the Chesapeake region, there is a boat show near you. The Philadelphia Boat Show comes to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA while the National Capital Boat Show will be at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.
Gary Jobson will be giving talks on Saturday and Sunday about sailing and his new book. Saturday’s talk is at 8 p.m. at the Severn School and Sunday’s talk is at 4 p.m. at the Oxford Community Center. More details can be found

39th Annual National Capital Angling & Conservation Show on Sunday, March 9
th from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Georgetown Prep, in Bethesda. This is sure to be your one stop shop for learning how to get into fly fishing and getting all the great that you need.
The Marco Hunting and Fishing Club in Middle River, MD is having a

MSP Polar Bear Plunge has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 8
th. Hopefully it will be warm enough that there will be water, instead of ice, at Sandy Point State Park. Even if you have no desire to jump in the Chesapeake Bay in March, this is a great event to come out and watch.
