In 2015, Fort Lauderdale, FL, native Greg Darby began working on a design for a tiki bar that could float, and before long the Cruisin' Tiki was born! Each Cruisin' Tiki is fully customizable, with options for bamboo chairs/padded cushions, a wet bar/sink, a 12 GAL fuel tank, and even a Bose Bluetooth sound system. https://youtu.be/41_tVmlvWRY This tiki can hold a max of 12 people, measure 15'6" long (excluding the motor), and has a max of 30 HP. The standard fuel tank holds 6.6 gallons. But before you get too excited, these tikis don't come cheap. The original Cruisin' Tiki A Model starts at $28,500. But that is with all optional items included and complete with motor, fuel tank, and chairs. Life jackets for eight people, horn, and fire extinguisher (per Coast Guard requirements) are an optional included feature. The B Model is a little more upscale with "beautiful bamboo superstructure and manufactured thatching that comes with a 20 year warranty." Pricing for that model starts at $31,500. The Dock Side version is priced at $25,500 as is comes without motor and controls. Photo courtesy Cruisin' Tikis Not ready to pony up that kind of dough for a floating tiki bar? If you find yourself in Florida you can charter a Cruisin' Tiki to see if the price is worth the experience. Options include a River Cruise in Fort Lauderdale ($500 for a four hour cruise, up to six people), an Islamorada Sunset Cruise, or the Eye Opener Cruise in Islamorada, which includes your choice of Mimosas or Bloody Marys prepared by Angler House Marina.
