This summer, Baltimore's Inner Harbor will welcome its only superyacht available for charter. GrandView Aviation, an executive helicopter and jet service based in Baltimore, is expanding its services to include private events and charters for the Motoryacht Scarlet. Available from June through October 2016, the Scarlet will be based at Baltimore Marine Centers’ Inner Harbor West Marina, located near the Ritz Carlton Residences. The 86-foot superyacht will be available for dockside events and day and term charters in Baltimore, Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay. “With easy access to the bay and the ability to travel to various ports and marinas throughout the region, Baltimore is an ideal location for a superyacht,” said Jessica Bowling, director of sales and marketing at GrandView Aviation. “Guests can enjoy the Scarlet’s luxurious amenities and beautifully decorated interiors while spending a day on the water or exploring the Chesapeake Bay’s coastal cities.” https://youtu.be/zdQufmZbPdY Manufactured by Azimut Yachts, the Scarlet can accommodate eight to 12 guests per charter and even more guests for dockside events. The main level features an open cockpit salon with a large table designed for entertaining or relaxing. The lower level has four staterooms, each with en suite bathrooms, satellite televisions and climate control. The master stateroom features a king-size bed, closets and a private seating area. With ample deck space for entertaining, dining, relaxing and sunbathing, the Scarlet’s aft deck also boasts two covered seating areas with a wet bar. Guests have access to a jet ski, paddleboards, waterslide, trampoline, and inner tubes. But before you get too excited, be mindful of Scarlet's prices. For private dockside events and cruises, prices begin at $3000 for a four hour rental for up to 25 guests. Day charters depart from Baltimore or Annapolis with a max capacity of 12 guests. Prices begin at $6500 for the day. Weekly rates for up to eight passengers start at $36,000. Time to break out the check book!
