The Baltimore Business Journal is holding a "Crab Cake Madness Survey," searching high and low to find the best crab cake. They've currently narrowed it down to four restaurants. Only one restaurant falls outside the Baltimore city limits, though: the Boatyard Bar and Grill located in the Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis.
