We know it’s early, but it’s really not that early. The Bay Bridge Boat Show will be here before you know it which means the unofficial opening of boating season on the Chesapeake Bay. Here are a few details to get you excited, and we’ll have our full guide to the show, including the show map, in PropTalk’s May issue. The Bay Bridge Boat Show runs April 12-14 at the Bay Bridge Marina in Stevensville, MD. 

Bay Bridge Boat Show Details

DATES: April 12-14

TIMES: Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and until 5 p.m. on Sunday

LOCATION: Bay Bridge Marina in Stevensville, MD (357 Pier 1 Rd.)

DIRECTIONS: From Annapolis, head east on Route 50. After crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, take the first exit on the right for Kent Island (Exit 37), then follow the signs for Boat Show Parking.

PARKING: On-site parking is $10 per car. There is also free off-site parking available at Christ Church Parish on Friday and at Kent Island High School on Saturday and Sunday. Please be sure to follow the parking signs upon your arrival. A shuttle bus will be provided to take you to the show.

TICKETS: $18 if purchased online, $20 at the gate; limited onsite box office available). Children 12 and under are free.

  • On-site food court with a variety of options, along with beer stations for the adults and ice cream and other treats for the kids. 
  • Family-friendly introductory boating courses with BoatUS Foundation.
  • Take a boating safety class with the USCG Auxiliary. 
  • Free daily seminars. Some of the topics include: Dock and Dine on the Upper Bay, VHF Etiquette, the Great Chesapeake Invasive Count, Light Tackle Jigging for Rockfish, Women: How to Build Your Boating Skills and Confidence, Preparing Your Boat for Coastal Cruising, Buying a Used Powerboat, and more.
