The Hances Point Yacht Club is located on the Northeast River, and made up of members who contribute to taking care of their facilities and grounds. The tightly-knit club participates in water based activities such as cruises and racing, but also holds a variety of family-suited, land based gatherings. The HPYC hosts dinner dances, roasts, and bakes. Many members also contribute to the restoration of sailboats on the club grounds, learning about boat restoration technique and tradition.
