Professional fisherman Cody Meyer may have a caught a potential world record spotted bass. According to Fishing League Worldwide (FLW), the fish was caught on December 16 from Bullard's Bar Reservoir in northern California. It weighed 10.8 pounds. The fish’s weight was certified on site by a representative of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Meyer was fishing the [Strike King] Ocho in the KVD magic color on a wacky rig with 15-pound-test Seaguar Smackdown braid and a 6-pound-test Seaguar Tatsu leader.
