Every time the dorsal fin of one of the sharks breaks the surface of the water, a signal is sent to a satellite. This signal then sends OCEARCH an estimated geolocation, which is then mapped on their website. Luckily there have been no recent signals coming from the bay, but a 14 foot Great White named Genie was at Cape Cod on May 25.
