This might actually get us to start running again. A "beer mile" is an event in which you run four laps around a track, chugging a can of beer before each lap. And there is a new world record, apparently. James Nielsen asserts that he is capable of drinking an entire beer in 2-3 seconds (that really isn't called drinking at that point, is it? More like inhaling). His drink of choice is Budweiser, which we respect. And on April 27, he managed to run a mile while inhaling four beers in four minutes and 57 seconds. Fast forward to 3:25 to see him actually start running and drinking. The first three minutes, he just discusses his training. Quite honestly, we can't do much after drinking two Bud heavies, so we have mad respect for this guy. But still... is this really a thing? Thanks to the Lawyer from Southie for making sure we keep current.
