The Bay was pretty much a parking lot of fishing boats on Maryland's opening day for rockfish season, Saturday, April 16, 2016. You can tell by the Boatyard Bar & Grill Opening Day Catch & Release Tournament party pics what an amazing day of weather and fishing it was. It was hard to step back and take a picture in that crowd. You can tell by a few fancy hats and bow ties interspersed among the revelers that the USNA/St. John's College croquet tournament had ended, and that crowd joined the anglers in post-fishing tourney fun with live music.
